These cards were developed as we taught our 6
year old daughter to learn French vocabulary before we moved to France. We
have printed them onto plain white card. Our daughter loves them and enjoys
playing games, such as speed contests or 'Snap' while reading the cards, and therefore learning
over 300 French words.

- Snap (using coloured borders or e.g. parts of
body, animals etc)
- Memory Pairs
- Tray Memory Game
- I Spy & Seek (look for what's on the card)
- Collect sets (Happy Family)
- Stick them around the house
The more fun we made it, the more she seemed
to remember! For us, the flash cards have
proved to be much more fun and effective
than books or DVDs. Great for adults too!
Print onto paper or card, even laminate.
We found little else available, the best being
French Berlitz Kids Flash Cards (pack of 50) which is what we started with, but
found we soon needed more.
